Marysville - An Introduction

THE TOWN

Marysville, Ohio was recently voted "Best Small Town" in Ohio by Ohio Magazine.  It is a growing, friendly community of about 18,000 residents.   Marysville is the county seat for Union County and is only 40 minutes from downtown Columbus, yet separated from the suburbs by 13 miles of farm land.  In town, there are a multitude of community events throughout the year which are well-attended by residents: parades, "First Friday" concerts, local theater groups for adults and children, street fairs during holiday seasons.  "Honda Homecoming" is a huge summer festival attended by motorcycle enthusiasts from around the midwest.

Honda of America is the largest employer, with both a research center and production facilities (making engines and Accords) just west of town.  Scotts/Miracle Grow and Univenture also have large campuses east of town.
