Buying a home is such an exciting adventure!  As you start looking for a new home: 

• Check your credit rating. Straighten out all the little errors right away.
• Determine a comfortable monthly budget for your new purchase, including down payment and monthly payment.
• Find a loan program that meets your needs and get a pre-approval letter.
• Choose a REALTOR® that you trust and who understands your needs.   We hope you choose "The Bailey Group"!  There is no fee for the services we provide to buyers.
• Identify important features you need in your new home.

We offer many free services to help you find your next home.  If you choose to work with us, here are some of the things we can do for you:

• Discuss with you all the communities and  properties that meet your criteria.
• Provide detailed information about the areas that interest you: schools, neighborhoods, towns, the local economy, and more.
• Schedule "showings" of your favorite properties, where you tour each home and property.
• Create an "offer" together (a legal document), and negotiate it into a "contract" (the same legal document after all the details are negotiated, signed by both the buyers and sellers).
• Make sure you don't pay too much for your new home and help you avoid costly mistakes.
• Offer advice on how to get the best financing.
• Follow up on the specific items outlined in the contract; eg. necessary inspections, title company paperwork and final walk through.
• Schedule and attend the "closing" (the final meeting where money and property change hands).
